"The goal was to improve the bony bridge, which was too wide. This area caught much more light than this one. The tip was unstructured, too soft. When smiling, it became even wider and drooped. This retraction of the nasal area, which was in this region, made the tip look like a small ball and the wing another small ball. And this was the result: I lowered the bridge a little, created a nose with a slight curvature, with a structured tip, a more delicate, more upturned, and more polished tip. It's not a small ball, it has a design and the lights and shadows are organized."

"Furthermore, a nose without structure is a nose that also does not have its function well established, a nose with a tip structure tends to breathe better," said the doctor.

Thais also commented that, in addition to the aesthetic part, she corrected a deviated septum:

"Let me explain: besides this thing the doctor mentioned about the little tip that was crooked and he had to adjust it, there was another situation - anyone who knows me knows how much I use that little nose thing, that nasal solution and that I'm addicted - that's why, since I had the last surgery, way back, I didn't do the turbinate, which is that spongy flesh, nor the deviated septum, I only did the little bone part and that ended up hindering me a bit, because I became totally dependent on those serums."

"Obviously, I wanted to fix the tip and everything, but the doctor also did a turbinate and a deviated septum. It was really bad. He had to adjust it, he really had to improve it, because I really wouldn't be able to breathe the way it was. He removed the flesh, fixed the deviated septum, because it was lacking structure, and put in cartilage so I could breathe better. So, I think it will look really nice, because, obviously, he fixed it and made it pretty, but it will be much more functional. I'll be able to breathe better, I'll be able to sleep better, and I won't need to take medication all the time."

"I'm very happy. Let's see how it turns out. I'll show you the result," she commented.

The bronze medalist in volleyball at the 2024 Paris Olympics has already undergone other procedures. In 2013, shortly after winning her second Olympic title, Thaisa decided to start making some changes to her body. In a 2014 interview with Globo Esporte, she revealed that she underwent rhinoplasty because she disliked watching her matches due to her profile.

"I changed my nose. It was something that bothered me a lot, I didn't watch the games because part of the game was sideways and I didn't want to see it. I thought it was ridiculous, it bothered me a lot," he said.

In addition to rhinoplasty, she also used the surgery to get breast implants. Later, the Olympic athlete revealed on her social media profile that she had already undergone facial harmonization and was very happy with the decision.

"I'm very happy with all the changes I've had. I worked hard to look this wonderful! I have no problem. I had facial harmonization, I gave my nose a lift, I got a little chin. I'm happy, I did it as delicately as possible so it wouldn't be exaggerated."
